Have you ever heard someone mention the scripture: God will not give you more than you can bear. I believe it is one of the top quoted verses in the Bible. Except it’s not actually a verse at all.
The verse that this phrase is making mention of is found in 1 Corinthians 10:13. It says: God will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.
Never does it imply that God won’t allow you to be stressed beyond what you can bear, Challenged beyond your ability, or pushed beyond your skill level.
In reality, God has no problem giving you more than you can bear. It’s when you can’t bear the load that Christ and all His strength kicks in. It’s during these moments that He can become everything you need and more.
When we can bear it no longer, God steps in.
